Centrelink Calculator
Our Centrelink Calculator assists the Accountants and Financial Advisers to calculate benefits that their clients may be entitled to from Centrelink. It is an easy to use program that can take into account an applicant and their particular family circumstances to determine what pensions, allowances, family payments, Parenting Allowances, Youth Allowances, and so on, that may be due to both the applicant and their partner.
The program allows you to use both a simple and detailed income stream to determine the eligibility for the various benefits, especially the age pension. The detailed income/asset form also takes into account the new deeming rules for financial investments held by pensioners. Also for Youth Allowance purposes, the actual means test has also been included.
The program is updated at least four times a year, keeping you right up to date with the ever changing world of Social Security. The program is windows based for systems running Windows versions up to Windows 10, and all current terminal and application servers.

Pricing and License details
Fiscal Software's Centrelink Calculator is a full featured program, but still very affordable. After the initial purchase price a small licence fee is charged at the conclusion of a twelve month period. At present this is $149.00 and entitles you to at least four updates a year, dependent on policy changes.
Of course, this product is bundled in with Fiscal Finance Pro saving you even more money.
Program Outcomes
The function of this calculator is to check on a person's eligibility for certain Centrelink benefits and allowances.First you must input the personal information for the applicant and any partner. Then you enter the details of any dependant children, followed by income details.
There are three income screens. Simple Income, Detailed Income, and Actual Means Income. The first represents basic information like what is the taxable income of the applicant and partner.
The second income screen allows you to input data to calculate accurate claims for age pensions, and the like. Financial and other assets must be identified for their income earning, as well as ordinary income and sundry items such as prior gifting. It then calculates the benefits based on the complex calculations employed by Centrelink.
For Youth Allowance purposes you may need to fill in the third income screen that records the actual means details required for small business owners, and those involved with family trusts and the like.
When this data is complete, you can choose which benefit to check for, and a report is then generated detailing the information input, the benefit due and the taxation and cash flow implications that follow.
Updates
Throughout the year, Fiscal Software can update some of its modules to fix problems, or to add functionality. To make it easy for you to keep up to date we have now included an automatic Update feature.Just be connected to the internet and the program will check for you each time it starts (in automatic mode). It will tell you if a new version exists and will send you to the download page if so desired.
